Industrial Alpinist - Greenland
We are seeking experienced Industrial Alpinists to join our team in Greenland. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at great heights, including rope access work, rigging, and maintenance on industrial structures. This is a physically demanding role that requires a high level of fitness, technical skills, and attention to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform rope access work on industrial structures such as towers, bridges, and buildings
- Rigging equipment and materials for safe transportation at high altitudes
- Conduct inspections and maintenance on industrial structures using specialized tools and techniques
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient completion of tasks
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in industrial alpinism or related field
- Valid certification in rope access (e.g. SPRAT or IRATA)
- Strong physical fitness and ability to work at heights for extended periods of time
- Technical skills in rigging, knot tying, and use of specialized equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid visa sponsorship (if not a resident of Greenland)
Compensation:
This position offers a salary of 1500$ per month. Accommodation is not provided but assistance can be given in finding housing. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.
