Pastry Chef - Vejle, Denmark
We are in search of a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team in Vejle, Denmark. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delicious pastries, desserts, and baked goods for our restaurant. Your creativity and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring that our customers have an unforgettable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Decorate pastries using various techniques to ensure an appealing presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all health and safety regulations
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Develop new recipes and menu items to keep up with current food trends
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a high-end restaurant or bakery
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- In-depth knowledge of different pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and tools
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Danish nationality or valid work permit for Denmark
Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable depending on experience)
