As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of delicious desserts and pastries for our guests. This includes creating new recipes, designing dessert menus, and managing inventory of pastry ingredients. You will also be in charge of training and supervising other pastry staff, ensuring high quality standards are met.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining or upscale establishment. A degree or certification in culinary arts or pastry making is preferred. You should possess excellent knowledge of different pastry techniques and ingredients, as well as strong creativity skills to develop unique and visually appealing desserts.
Attention to detail, time-management skills, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for this role. You should also have strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other kitchen staff. Experience with budgeting and cost control is an advantage.
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month. Our restaurant is located in the charming city of Vejle, known for its scenic waterfront and historic landmarks. While Danish nationality is preferred, we welcome all qualified candidates who can legally work in Denmark.
