Senior Accountant

Our company is a leading financial services firm based in Odense, seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Conduct monthly and yearly closing procedures
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities
- Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
- Assist with tax preparations and audits
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide training as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks or SAP
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

We offer competitive salary of 1500$ per month, along with benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. This is a full-time position with the option for remote work after initial training. Accommodation can be provided for candidates who are not local to Odense.
