Cashier

A well-established retail store in La Condamine is seeking an experienced Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions and maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory. The ideal candidate will have previous cashier experience, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with their purchases
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Ensure pricing and product information is correct on all items
- Keep checkout area clean and organized
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels as needed
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns, exchanges, etc.

Requirements:
- Previous cashier experience is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Good math skills for calculating totals and making change
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
