Junior Game Developer


We are a game development company located in Herning, seeking a talented and passionate Junior Game Developer to join our team. As a Junior Game Developer, you will work closely with our team of experienced developers to create engaging and immersive gaming experiences. You will be involved in all stages of the development process, from concept to release, and will have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to conceptualize game ideas and develop design documents
- Write efficient and clean code using programming languages such as C++, Java or Unity
- Test and debug code, identifying and fixing any issues that arise
- Create game assets using 2D or 3D software
- Implement gameplay features and mechanics based on design specifications
- Participate in team meetings to discuss progress, provide feedback, and brainstorm new ideas

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Design or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java or Unity
- Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine preferred but not required
- Familiarity with 2D/3D software such as Photoshop or Blender is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Passion for gaming and eagerness to learn new technologies
