Executive Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant in Herning, Denmark



Our upscale fine dining restaurant in Herning, Denmark is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our menu, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest level of food quality and presentation. This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Create and execute innovative menu items that reflect the restaurant's concept and vision
- Manage inventory, food costs, and kitchen budget
- Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking techniques, sanitation standards, and safety regulations
- Train and develop kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and service
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Conduct regular menu tastings to ensure consistency and quality control
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate them into menu development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant or luxury hotel
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Proven track record of creating successful menus that reflect creativity, quality ingredients, and seasonal offerings
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with front-of-house staff
- Experience managing inventory, budgets, and cost control measures
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
