Instrument Technician
We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Aarhus. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in instrumentation and be able to work independently and as part of a team. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month, along with accommodation provided. We welcome applications from women who are passionate about this field.
As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial settings. This includes both electronic and mechanical instruments such as meters, gauges, sensors, and analyzers. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and diagnosing any issues that may arise with these instruments.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to read technical drawings and schematics. You should also have experience working with various hand tools and test equipment. Attention to detail is crucial in this position as any miscalibration or error could have serious consequences.
We are seeking candidates who are self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. You should also possess excellent communication skills as you may need to explain complex technical terms to non-technical colleagues or clients.
Responsibilities:
-Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various types of instruments
-Read technical drawings and schematics
-Use hand tools and test equipment
-Document all work performed
-Maintain inventory of spare parts
-Provide training to colleagues or clients on instrument operation
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
-Degree or diploma in Instrumentation Technology or related field
-Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician
-Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
-Familiarity with different types of instruments used in industrial settings
-Strong troubleshooting skills
-Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Attention to detail and accuracy
-Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Working as an Instrument Technician can be physically demanding, requiring you to stand for long periods of time and occasionally lift heavy equipment. You may also be required to work in confined spaces or at heights, so a good level of physical fitness is necessary.
