Junior DevOps Developer - Faro, Portugal


We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior DevOps Developer to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Junior DevOps Developer, you will work closely with our development and operations teams to create and maintain automated systems that support our software development process. This is a contract position with no required experience, making it the perfect opportunity for recent graduates or those looking to jumpstart their career in the tech industry.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify areas for improvement in the software delivery process
- Design, implement, and maintain automated systems for testing, building, deploying, and monitoring software applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the deployment and operation of software applications
- Continuously monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal functioning
- Ensure all systems meet security and compliance standards
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices for DevOps processes and tools

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud computing services such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash or Python
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary:
This is a contract position paying 1300$ per month.

Location:
This role is based in Faro, Portugal. Relocation assistance is not provided so candidates must already have their own visa.
