Entry Level Barista - Alta, Norway


We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as an Entry Level Barista in Alta, Norway. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies. You will also assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the café.

We are looking for someone with a passion for coffee and customer service who is eager to learn and grow in this role. No prior experience is required, but candidates with previous food or beverage service experience will be given preference.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to customer orders
- Ensure a high level of customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions they may have
- Maintain cleanliness of the café including wiping down counters, tables, and equipment
- Restock supplies as needed
- Follow all health codes and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with opening or closing duties as assigned by manager

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Passion for coffee and customer service
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
- Excellent communication skills in English (Norwegian language proficiency is a plus)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25lbs
