We are hiring a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Herning. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases. You will ensure that the databases are secure, backed up, and running efficiently to support the business operations.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain database systems
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
- Perform regular backups to ensure data security
- Develop and implement protocols for data sharing and security
- Collaborate with other teams to improve database functionality and user experience
- Stay updated on new database technologies and trends

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Proficient in SQL and other database languages
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, security, and integrity principles
- Knowledge of database design principles
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good communication skills
