Mason: Experienced in Stonemasonry (Faroe-Islands)

We are currently seeking an experienced Mason specialized in Stonemasonry to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using various types of stone, including brick, concrete block, and natural stone. Your main duties will include cutting and shaping stones, preparing mortar and grout, and laying stones according to specific patterns or designs.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Mason
- Proficiency in stonemasonry techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Own visa or eligibility to work in Faroe-Islands
- Open to candidates of any gender or nationality

Key Responsibilities:
- Cut or shape stones using hand tools or power tools such as chisels, hammers, and saws
- Prepare mortar or grout by mixing cement, sand, water, and other ingredients according to specified ratios
- Lay stones in a specific pattern or design according to construction plans
- Use levels, rulers, plumb lines, and other tools to ensure accurate placement of stones
- Repair or replace damaged or cracked stones using appropriate techniques
- Clean finished surfaces using water or chemical solutions to remove excess mortar or stains
- Maintain clean and organized work area at all times

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this full-time position.
