As a Head Chef at our fine dining restaurant in Esbjerg, Denmark, you will be responsible for creating and executing a unique and high-end culinary experience for our guests. You will lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure the highest quality of food preparation and service. Your creativity, attention to detail, and strong leadership skills will be crucial in maintaining the reputation of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and reflect the restaurant's concept
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring all dishes are cooked to perfection and presented beautifully
- Train and manage kitchen staff, delegating tasks as needed
- Maintain inventory levels and order necessary supplies
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items or special event menus
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to create innovative dishes while also executing classic recipes flawlessly
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Well-developed organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
