Hotel Sales Manager
We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Alta, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for our hotel through effective marketing strategies and building strong relationships with clients. As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities and maintaining existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
- Identify potential clients and maintain relationships with existing ones
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competition
- Collaborate with other departments to create attractive packages and promotions
- Participate in trade shows, events, and sales trips to promote the hotel
- Monitor sales performance and report on progress to management
- Train and motivate the sales team to achieve targets
- Handle any customer complaints or issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel sales or a related field
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English (Norwegian or other languages are a plus)
- Excellent negotiation and networking abilities
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
