Technical Support Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Almada. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring their computer systems and networks are functioning efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information in simple terms.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide solutions
- Install and configure computer systems, software, and peripherals
- Maintain accurate records of all support activities
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex issues
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and updates
- Train end-users on new systems or applications as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support role
- Proficient in Windows and Mac operating systems
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools such as TeamViewer or AnyDesk
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
Preferred:
- CompTIA A+ or other relevant certifications
- Experience with virtualization software (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)
Salary: $1200 per month
