Executive Chef - Aalborg, Denmark
As an Executive Chef at our high-end restaurant in Aalborg, Denmark, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our establishment. You will work closely with our team to create new menus, develop recipes and ensure the highest quality of food is served to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen activities and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff
- Create new menus that are both innovative and appealing to our customers
- Develop recipes that showcase local ingredients and flavors
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented according to high standards
- Manage inventory and control costs while maintaining high-quality ingredients
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in the kitchen
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of different cuisines, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication skills to work with other departments, suppliers, and guests
- Creativity in developing new menus and dishes while also adhering to budget constraints
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with ease
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Education:
A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Salary & Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this full-time contract position. We also provide free visa sponsorship and airfare for international candidates. Accommodation is not included.
