Chef de Cuisine
The Chef de Cuisine is a highly skilled and experienced culinary professional who oversees all aspects of the kitchen operations. This role requires a creative and organized individual with a passion for food and the ability to lead and inspire a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain menus that are innovative, seasonally inspired, and reflect local ingredients
- Plan and execute daily specials, events, and catering orders
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and budgeting for supplies
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure exceptional guest experiences
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and techniques
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a culinary leadership role
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively train and motivate staff
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to create efficient systems for kitchen operations
- Food safety certification preferred but not required
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.
Location:
This role is located in Randers, Denmark. Danish nationality or work permit preferred.
