IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team in La-Condamine. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our computer systems.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely solutions
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on systems to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate records of all support activities
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex technical issues
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex technical issues
- Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP) and network security principles
- Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a plus
