Electrical Engineer - Biometric Passport Project (Contract)

As an Electrical Engineer for our biometric passport project in Esbjerg, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems and equipment for the production of biometric passports. Your main duties will include conducting feasibility studies, creating technical specifications, overseeing installation and testing of equipment, and providing technical support to the production team. This is a contract position with an urgent deadline, requiring a highly skilled engineer with experience in electronic design, automation systems, and quality control. The salary for this role is 1600$, with potential for extension based on project progress.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems and equipment for the production of biometric passports
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Create technical specifications for equipment procurement and oversee installation and testing processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality control, and procurement to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
- Troubleshoot any issues during installation or operation of equipment
- Provide technical support to the production team throughout the project timeline

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic design, automation systems, or similar roles related to passport production
- Experience with biometric technology is a plus
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
