A reputable construction company in Almada, Portugal is seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing roofs on various residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific requirements
- Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofs (e.g. flat, sloped)
- Ensure roofs are properly waterproofed and insulated
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and repair any damages or leaks
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries on the job site

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Roofer in the construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
- Strong knowledge of different roofing materials and techniques
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately at heights
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in roofing is a plus
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
- Own transportation and tools (preferred)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per week for this contract position.

Location:
This position is based in Almada, Portugal but may require travel within the surrounding areas for different projects.

Visa Requirements:
Candidates must have their own valid visa for working in Portugal.
