Architectural Technologist - Entry Level


An architectural technologist is a key member of the architectural team, responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the design, planning, and construction of buildings. As an entry-level architectural technologist in Bergen, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain valuable experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist architects and designers with drafting and detailing building plans, elevations, sections, and details using CAD software
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assist with on-site project management
- Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with engineers and other consultants to ensure designs meet building codes and regulations
- Research building materials and products for cost-effective solutions
- Utilize BIM software to create 3D models for visualization purposes

Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or related field
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or Revit)
- Knowledge of BIM software (such as ArchiCAD) is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements

Salary:
This is a contract position with a starting salary of 1200$ per month. Accommodation will be provided.
