Junior DevOps Developer


We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior DevOps Developer to join our team in the beautiful city of Faroe-Islands on a contract basis. As a Junior DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our software development and deployment processes, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of our products. This is an urgent job opportunity, so we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running without prior experience.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to improve software delivery processes
- Implement automation tools for testing, deployment, and monitoring
- Troubleshoot issues in production and provide timely solutions
- Maintain and update build systems and source code repositories
- Ensure system security by implementing best practices and regularly monitoring for vulnerabilities
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
- Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Chef
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash or Python
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

Location:
This job is located in the beautiful city of Faroe Islands, known for its stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage. While nationality or location is not a strict requirement, we prefer candidates who are able to work on-site.
