Instrument Technician in Vejle, Denmark


We are searching for a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Vejle, Denmark. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing various types of industrial equipment and instruments. You will also be expected to troubleshoot issues and perform routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of the equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and instruments such as sensors, transmitters, controllers, recorders, and analyzers
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment and recommend solutions
- Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Work closely with other technicians and engineers to identify potential problems and develop solutions
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working with electrical equipment
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to instrumentation

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment such as sensors, transmitters, controllers, recorders, and analyzers
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with calibration procedures for various types of instruments
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Danish is a plus)
- Must be able to work in physically demanding environments (e.g. climbing ladders or working in confined spaces)
- Valid driver's license

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional technical education or certification in instrumentation is preferred.

Working Conditions:
This position requires working indoors at industrial sites for extended periods of time. Some tasks may also require working outdoors in varying weather conditions. You may be required to work overtime or on weekends depending on project deadlines.
