We are a healthcare organization seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all care provided
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Valid nursing license in Kenya
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population
- Compassionate, empathetic, and able to provide quality patient care
Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1600 per month.
