Crane Operator


We are in need of a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Fonvieille. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites. Your role will also involve performing regular maintenance checks on the equipment and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes, such as tower cranes, mobile cranes, and overhead cranes
- Read and interpret load charts to determine appropriate crane size and configuration for each lift
- Perform routine maintenance checks on cranes to ensure they are in good working condition
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures while operating the crane
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate lifts and ensure safe movement of materials
- Keep detailed records of lifts, including materials moved, weight lifted, and time taken
- Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions immediately to the supervisor

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Crane Operator in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid crane operator certification from a recognized institution
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Familiarity with load charts and ability to interpret them accurately
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and depth perception for operating the crane controls
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members
- Must be able to read and understand safety manuals
- Preference will be given to candidates who can provide their own accommodation

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
