Junior Barista



The Junior Barista will be responsible for creating and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages to our customers in Herning. This is a full-time position, perfect for recent graduates or those without prior experience in the field. We are looking for a passionate individual who is eager to learn from our experienced team and grow in their barista skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea-based drinks according to customer orders
- Ensure all drinks are made to company standards and with attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, and utensils
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register records
- Restock inventory and supplies as needed
- Follow health code guidelines in food preparation and storage
- Learn about different types of coffee beans, roasts, brewing methods, and flavor profiles

Requirements:
- A passion for coffee, tea, and customer service
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in English (Danish language skills a plus)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn from senior baristas
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1400$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Herning, Denmark. We welcome applicants of any nationality who are legally authorized to work in Denmark.
