Moderator for Online Community in Faroe-Islands


We are hiring a Moderator to join our growing online community in the beautiful Faroe-Islands. As a Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing discussions, ensuring that all content meets our community guidelines and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and moderate user-generated content, including forum posts, comments, and reviews
- Enforce community guidelines and flag any inappropriate or offensive content
- Engage with community members to foster positive discussions and resolve conflicts
- Collaborate with other moderators and team members to develop strategies for growth and engagement
- Identify potential issues or trends within the community and report them to the appropriate team members
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in community management

Requirements:
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Faroese is a plus)
- Previous experience moderating online communities or forums
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively engage with diverse personalities
- Excellent judgment and ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Passion for building online communities and creating positive interactions among members
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
