Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Projects

We have an immediate opening for a Civil Engineer to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and other public works. Your role will involve conducting site inspections, creating project plans and designs, and coordinating with contractors and other professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in infrastructure project management
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections to assess project feasibility and identify potential issues
- Develop detailed project plans and designs according to specifications
- Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design plans and regulations
- Communicate with contractors, clients, government officials, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure timely completion within allocated funds
- Conduct quality control checks on materials used in construction
- Prepare progress reports for management as well as clients
