Contract Preservation Architect in Roskilde, Denmark


A reputable architectural firm in Roskilde, Denmark is seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team on a contract basis. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of $1000 per week, along with the added benefit of free visa and ticket provided by our company.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historic buildings to determine their condition and potential preservation needs
- Developing preservation plans and strategies for the restoration of historic structures
- Collaborating with other architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure the preservation work is carried out accurately and efficiently
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals for preservation projects from local governing bodies
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and preservation guidelines
- Overseeing the budget and timeline for preservation projects
- Conducting research on historical architectural styles and materials

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Preservation Architect
- Strong knowledge of historical architectural styles, materials, and preservation techniques
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and preservation guidelines

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working on preservation projects in Denmark or other Nordic countries. However, we welcome applications from all nationalities.
