Part-Time Restaurant Manager
We are hiring a Part-Time Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant in Faroe-Islands. As the manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of all aspects of the restaurant, including customer service, staff management, and financial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and cleaning crew
- Train new employees and ensure they are familiar with restaurant policies and procedures
- Create schedules for staff based on business needs and budget constraints
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Respond to customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure high quality standards are met
- Monitor financial performance of the restaurant and make adjustments as needed to reach revenue targets
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotions and attract new customers
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant management role preferred but not required
- Ability to work part-time hours with flexible scheduling
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach staff
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Must be legally eligible to work in Faroe Islands
We offer competitive salary of $1700 per month for this part-time position. Accommodation is not provided, so candidates must have their own housing arrangements.
