IT Manager - Braga, Portugal


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our team in Braga. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our organization's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems. You will also be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals and ensuring that all technological systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement technology strategies to support the overall goals of the organization
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all hardware and software systems
- Manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure that all technology systems are secure and compliant with industry standards
- Implement disaster recovery plans in case of system failures or cyber attacks
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide solutions to improve efficiency
- Monitor technology budgets and make recommendations for cost-saving measures
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and make recommendations for implementing new systems or upgrades

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in an IT management role
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and security systems
- Proven experience managing a team of IT professionals
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with different departments within the organization

Preferred:
- Experience working in the information technology industry in Portugal is preferred but not required.

Salary: 1000$ per month (with accommodation provided if needed)
