Entry-Level Land Surveyor
We are hiring an Entry-Level Land Surveyor to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for collecting data and creating accurate maps and measurements of the Earth's surface. In this role, you will use specialized equipment and technology to determine property boundaries, analyze land features, and assist with construction projects.
To be successful in this position, you must have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently. A biometric passport is preferred but not required. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about geography, has excellent technical skills, and is looking to start their career in land surveying.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using GPS equipment and other tools
- Collect data on land features, property boundaries, and topography
- Create accurate maps and measurements using specialized software
- Assist with construction projects by providing precise location information
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy of data collected
- Keep detailed records of survey data for future reference
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geomatics or related field preferred
- Prior experience in land surveying is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of GPS equipment and surveying software
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts related to land surveying
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Bergen, Norway (relocation assistance may be provided)
