Junior Executive Chef

We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our team as a Junior Executive Chef in Alta, Norway. In this role, you will work under the guidance of our experienced Executive Chef to assist in the daily operations of our kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and workstations
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
- Culinary school graduate or equivalent experience preferred
- Passion for cooking and creativity in creating dishes
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Fluent in English (Norwegian language skills are an asset)
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per week, with opportunities for growth within the company.
