We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at a prestigious luxury restaurant in the beautiful city of Alta, Norway. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a menu that showcases the best of Norwegian cuisine, while also incorporating global influences. You will oversee all aspects of food preparation, from sourcing high-quality ingredients to creating visually stunning and delicious dishes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute menu concepts that reflect the restaurant's unique style and location
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to ensure freshness and availability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, sanitation standards, and safety procedures
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a cohesive dining experience for guests
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to meet budget goals
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or other senior culinary position
- In-depth knowledge of Norwegian cuisine with a passion for incorporating global flavors
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High level of creativity with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Education & Experience:
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role

We offer competitive salary of 1400$ per month along with accommodation. We are also open to providing assistance with obtaining necessary visas for non-Norwegian applicants.
