Experienced Turner in Roskilde

As an experienced Turner in Roskilde, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of turning equipment to produce high-quality metal parts and components. You should be skilled in reading technical drawings, setting up machines, selecting appropriate tools, and conducting quality checks. Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems will ensure that our production runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in metal turning, preferably in a manufacturing environment. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of 1100$ per week.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of turning equipment to produce metal parts according to technical drawings
- Set up machines by selecting tools, adjusting speeds and feeds, and securing materials
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure precision and accuracy of parts
- Troubleshoot issues with machines or materials to maintain continuous production flow
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Turner in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
- Skilled in setting up machines, selecting appropriate tools, and conducting quality checks
- Able to troubleshoot issues with machines or materials as they arise
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods of time and lifting/moving heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English (Danish language skills are a plus)
