Experienced Formworker in Alta


We are seeking an experienced Formworker to join our team in the beautiful city of Alta. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling concrete forms for structures such as buildings, bridges, and tunnels. Your main duty will be to ensure that the concrete is poured into the forms correctly and that they are aligned according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to determine form dimensions and materials required
- Construct wooden or metal forms for pouring concrete, using saws, hammers, nails, and other hand tools
- Measure, mark, and cut materials to desired specifications
- Align forms for proper placement and anchor them securely
- Pour and spread concrete into forms; smooth surfaces using trowels or screeds
- Monitor the curing process of the concrete and make adjustments as needed
- Remove forms after the concrete has set; clean and maintain them for reuse

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Formworker
- Proficient in reading blueprints and construction drawings
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Physically fit with good stamina to handle the demands of the job
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
