We are hiring a skilled Database Administrator to join our dynamic team in Aalborg. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases, ensuring their security, integrity, and performance. You will also work closely with our development team to design and implement new database systems to support our growing business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain all aspects of our company's databases including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, backup and recovery, security management, and performance optimization.
- Monitor database systems regularly to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with development team to design and implement new database systems.
- Develop database procedures and scripts for data migration, backup, and recovery.
- Identify and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Keep abreast of the latest database technologies and trends.
- Provide technical support to end-users as needed.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of database management systems (SQL Server, MySQL).
- Experience with database design, capacity planning, performance tuning, backup & recovery strategies.
- Strong understanding of SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with cloud-based databases such as AWS RDS or Azure SQL is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month. We also offer free visa sponsorship and ticket for the right candidate.

Location:
This job is based in Aalborg, Denmark. However, we welcome candidates from other countries who are willing to relocate.
