Floral Designer
Location: Svalbard, Norway


We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Floral Designer to join our team in Svalbard. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating stunning floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, events, and everyday orders. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and bring it to life through your designs.

Responsibilities:
- Design and create unique floral arrangements for weddings, events and daily orders
- Source and select fresh flowers, plants and other materials needed for arrangements
- Maintain inventory of floral supplies and order new stock when needed
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Provide recommendations on floral designs based on client's budget and style
- Ensure timely delivery of arrangements to clients
- Set up and decorate event venues with floral arrangements
- Collaborate with other team members to create cohesive designs for larger events
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques in floristry

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floral Designer or similar role
- Proficient knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, greenery, and other materials used in floristry
- Strong design skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills to consult with clients effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of color palettes, textures, styles, and design principles
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 20lbs)
- Biometric passport or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience working with students is a plus
