Entry-Level Database Administrator


We are seeking an Entry-Level Database Administrator to join our dynamic team in Bergen. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases, ensuring their security and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Create and maintain database backups and recovery plans
- Ensure data security and integrity through regular audits and updates
- Collaborate with other teams to develop database solutions that meet business needs
- Provide technical support for end-users when needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Familiarity with SQL databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Basic understanding of database architecture and management principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Database Administrator or similar role is a plus
- Knowledge of programming languages like Java or Python is a plus

Salary:
The salary for this position starts at 1500$ per month.
