QA Engineer (Faroe-Islands)


A reputable software development company in Faroe-Islands is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience with automated testing tools and possess strong attention to detail. This is a contract position without accommodation, so the candidate must have a biometric passport and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test cases to ensure the quality of our software products
- Conduct system, integration, and regression testing
- Identify, report, and track bugs in our software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
- Continuously improve testing processes and strategies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies
- Familiarity with programming languages like Java or Python
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Biometric passport for international travel

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Faroe-Islands. However, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, remote work may be an option until international travel restrictions are lifted.
