Junior Civil Engineer - Contract Position in Os, Nigeria
A leading construction company in Os, Nigeria is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional to gain experience in the field of civil engineering. The successful candidate will work on various projects under the guidance of senior engineers and will have the opportunity to learn and develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design, planning, and execution of construction projects
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications
- Prepare reports, drawings, and calculations for project documentation
- Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure project success
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders regarding project progress
- Utilize software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Excel for design and analysis purposes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of construction principles, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be willing to relocate to Os, Nigeria for the duration of the contract
Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1100$ per month. Accommodation will not be provided but we will cover the cost of your visa and flight ticket.
