Housekeeping Manager

Location: Umm-Said, Qatar (Preference for Indian national)

Salary: 1300$



We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at a luxury hotel in Umm-Said, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be an Indian national with excellent English communication skills. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and train housekeeping staff to maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hotel
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of time and resources
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and submit orders as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness
- Address guest complaints or requests promptly and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or events
- Maintain budgetary guidelines for the housekeeping department and control costs effectively

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Housekeeping Manager at a luxury hotel or resort
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures for different surfaces, fabrics, furniture, etc.
- Proven experience in managing budgets, ordering supplies, and controlling costs
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends or holidays as needed
