Excavator Operator

We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our construction team in Ajman, UAE. The ideal candidate should have experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators and possess a valid operator license. The Excavator Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the excavator, following safety protocols and project plans, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator efficiently and safely according to project plans and instructions from supervisors
- Inspect equipment before use and report any malfunctions or damages to the supervisor
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Complete assigned tasks within given deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Maintain the excavator by cleaning, greasing, and performing routine maintenance checks
- Keep accurate records of daily work activities including fuel consumption, materials moved, etc.
- Report any safety hazards or accidents immediately to the supervisor

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years' experience operating an excavator in a construction setting
- Valid operator license for heavy equipment such as an excavator
- Ability to read project plans and follow instructions from supervisors
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination for operating controls on the excavator
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused during long hours of work
- Good communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
- Indian nationality preferred

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time contract position with no accommodation provided. Working hours may vary depending on project requirements but will typically be 8 hours per day, 6 days per week. This job is suitable for students looking for part-time employment while studying in Ajman.
