Pastry Chef
A high-end restaurant in Bayan is seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As the Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our dessert menu, as well as managing the overall pastry department. Your creativity and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable dining experience.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Strong knowledge of various pastry techniques and desserts from different cultures
- Ability to lead, train, and manage a team of pastry cooks
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Passion for creating new and innovative desserts
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create seasonal dessert menus that align with the restaurant's concept and standards
- Prepare all desserts according to recipes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation
- Train new pastry cooks on recipes, techniques, and plating methods
- Order necessary ingredients and supplies while maintaining budgetary requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen
Salary: $1600/month (negotiable based on experience)
