Information Security Analyst - Contract Position (Izhevsk, Egypt)



We are seeking a skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Izhevsk, Egypt. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's sensitive information and systems from potential threats and breaches. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or potential threats
- Perform regular penetration testing and vulnerability scanning to identify areas of weakness
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner to minimize potential damage or impact
- Conduct research on emerging security threats and recommend measures to mitigate risk
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of new systems and applications
- Provide training and support to employees on information security best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven work experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption methods, etc.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. Nessus) and penetration testing techniques
- Familiarity with industry compliance standards (e.g. ISO 27001)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
