Claims Adjuster
A reputable insurance company in Pula is seeking a skilled and experienced Claims Adjuster to join our team. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims to determine the extent of coverage and appropriate compensation. You will work closely with clients, insurance agents, and other professionals to gather information and evidence related to claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance policies and regulations, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to handle complex situations with empathy and professionalism.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations into insurance claims by gathering information, reviewing policies, and assessing damages
- Analyze evidence and documentation to determine coverage eligibility
- Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, legal representatives, and other professionals to gather information
- Evaluate damages through on-site inspections or by reviewing photographs or videos
- Negotiate settlements with policyholders or their representatives
- Document all findings, actions taken, and decisions made in a clear and organized manner
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an adjuster in the insurance industry
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies and regulations
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to analyze information from various sources
- Empathy and professionalism when dealing with clients
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle complex situations with tact
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
