ESL Teacher

We are currently seeking an experienced ESL Teacher to join our international school in Hawalli. As an ESL Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans to teach English as a second language to students from diverse backgrounds. The ideal candidate should have experience working with African and foreign students, as well as excellent English speaking skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of students from diverse backgrounds
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback on their language skills
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes cultural understanding and appreciation
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop curriculum and implement effective teaching strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably in an international setting
- TESOL/TEFL certification or equivalent qualifications in teaching English as a second language
- Native-like proficiency in English, including excellent speaking and writing skills
- Experience working with African and foreign students is preferred
- Passion for teaching and ability to create a positive learning environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and ability to work well in a team
