Executive Chef


Our 5-star hotel in Manama is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and service, creating new menus, and maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene. We are looking for a creative and passionate individual who can lead our team to provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee daily operations of the kitchen
- Create new menus and dishes in collaboration with the Sous Chef
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, delegating tasks, and providing performance feedback
- Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and presented in a timely manner
- Monitor food costs, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations during events or special occasions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks effectively
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks under pressure
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to create new menus that cater to different dietary restrictions or preferences

Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Certification in food handling or sanitation is a plus
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is an advantage

Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month along with benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts at our hotel facilities.
