Senior Gardener


We are currently hiring a Senior Gardener to join our team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As a Senior Gardener, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our gardens and outdoor spaces. We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual with a passion for gardening and a strong eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and design garden layouts, taking into consideration the climate, soil conditions, and client's preferences
- Maintain and care for plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers by pruning, watering, fertilizing, and controlling weeds
- Monitor plant health and identify any pests or diseases that may affect the garden
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
- Supervise a team of gardeners and allocate tasks accordingly
- Train new gardening staff on proper techniques and best practices
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies as needed
- Ensure all gardening equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or projects that require landscaping or gardening services
- Adhere to safety guidelines when using equipment or handling chemicals

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Gardener or similar role in a professional setting
- Excellent knowledge of different types of plants, flowers, trees, shrubs, etc.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and other gardening equipment/tools
- Ability to lead a team effectively and delegate tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects if necessary
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency preferred)
- Valid biometric passport (for foreigners)

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Al-Rayyan, Qatar.
