Executive Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant in Utena, Canada


We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at a fine dining restaurant located in the beautiful city of Utena, Canada. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, from menu planning and food preparation to staff management and budgeting. Your culinary expertise and passion for creating exceptional dishes will play a crucial role in maintaining our restaurant's high standards and reputation.

Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that showcase local Canadian ingredients while incorporating international flavors
- Create new dishes and recipes that are innovative, visually appealing, and delicious
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed while adhering to budgetary constraints
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or special requests
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously elevate our restaurant's offerings

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and plating presentations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high quality standards
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (French proficiency is a plus)
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month plus potential bonuses based on performance.
